Established in 1997, Shikhar Yuva Manch (SYM) has evolved into a dynamic and professionally managed organization, dedicated to addressing crucial issues surrounding local governance. Initially founded as a youth-driven initiative, SYM has since become a legally registered society, uniting members under a shared mission of driving social transformation. With a firm commitment to empowering marginalized and minority communities, SYM's passionate team is devoted to catalyzing holistic development and championing causes such as children's welfare and food security.
We strive to empower marginalized and vulnerable communities through comprehensive development initiatives that prioritize education, livelihood, and societal change. Through fostering collaboration and advocating for human rights, our mission is to spearhead a global movement that uplifts lives and fosters a harmonious future.
Our vision is to cultivate a world where every individual, irrespective of background, realizes their full potential, thriving in societies characterized by respect, equality, and sustainable progress.
1. Health Empowerment- Enhance community health in tribal areas via MMU services, preventive care, sanitation, WASH promotion, mass awareness, and government system support
2. Education and Child Rights: Ensure quality education for Baiga children, uphold RTE rights, and strengthen SMCs, emphasizing child rights protection including access to proper nutrition.
3. Sustainable Livelihood and Renewable Energy: Promote sustainable livelihoods among marginalized communities, including bamboo artisans, while advocating for the adoption of renewable energy solutions to foster economic empowerment and environmental sustainability.
4. Natural Resource Management (NRM) and Ecology: Implement initiatives for the conservation and sustainable management of natural resources, emphasizing ecological preservation and community participation in environmental stewardship.
