Description:
Shikhar Yuva Manch conducts a Pashu Mitra (Animal Friend) training program in 40 villages across Korba and Mahasamund districts. The program trains local individuals, known as Pashu Mitras, in animal husbandry techniques, livestock management, and basic veterinary care. Participants learn about animal nutrition, breeding, disease prevention, and first aid for common ailments. They also receive training on sustainable livestock practices and environmentally friendly farming methods. Upon completion of the program, Pashu Mitras become valuable resources within their communities, providing vital support and expertise to local farmers and promoting the welfare of livestock in the region.
