It began as an initiative by a group of passionate and committed young individuals determined to bring about positive social change. Greetings to all our valued partners, supporters, and members of Shikhar Yuva Manch (SYM), As I pen this note for our Annual Report 2022-23, it fills my heart with immense pride and gratitude to announce that we are celebrating our 25th year of service to the community. From humble beginnings, where we initiated our first community development project in Bitkuli Village, Bilaspur District, Chhattisgarh, with just three dedicated individuals, including myself, we have come a long way. Today, we stand as a beacon of hope, having implemented 30 impactful projects across 10 Districts, reaching out to and positively impacting the lives of approximately 1,75,000 families.... ... Our journey has been possible because of the unwavering support and collective action of numerous partners and stakeholders. I extend my heartfelt greetings and gratitude to the Government of India and State Governments, International government departments, Foundations and organizations, Private companies contributing through CSR initiatives, individuals like you, and our fellow member organizations within SYM. Your belief in our cause and generous contributions has been instrumental in driving positive change in the lives of countless individuals and communities. Over the years, we have witnessed incredible stories of courage and inspiration from the people we have served. Through our digital platforms, such as our website and social media, we have strived to share these impactful stories, spreading awareness about the transformational work we do. One of our core areas of focus has been on education projects. We firmly believe that education is a powerful tool for empowerment, and it is the key to unlocking a better future for individuals and society as a whole. Our efforts have been dedicated to bringing out-of-school children back into the educational fold and preventing in-school children, especially girls, from dropping out. By securing equal opportunities for all, we aim to create a more inclusive and just society. As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we recommit ourselves to our mission of grassroots development and empowering the marginalized. Our vision for the future is even more ambitious, and we aspire to touch the lives of millions more in the coming years.
